Brief Offline and picture finishing.
How it was done This 3 x 60-minute BBC1 documentary follows the fascinating behaviour of big cats and also gives insight into the secret lives of the rarely seen ‘small’ big cats. The Big Cats team travelled to 14 different countries and filmed 31 out of the 40 species over a period of two years. Doghouse provided editing facilities, picture finishing and project management. Rushes were captured on a combination of Sony F55, FS7, A7S 2, Arri Amira, Red Dragon, Panasonic Varicam LT, Phantom Flex 4K and Selex Thermal cameras, with Doghouse colourist Fred Tay enhancing the beautiful photography using Da Vinci Resolve to give the series a natural and rich look throughout. Online editor Michael Lansdell completed the online in Adobe Premiere.
Watch it Thursdays, 8pm, BBC1
