Katie Leveson will lead the HR team and ensure a progressive and inclusive environment at the company
BBC Studioworks has taken on Katie Leveson as culture and transformation director, to lead its business transformation strategy and cultural change.
The appointment comes as BBC Studioworks reveals it’s planning to advance its business across the UK.
As part of her role, Leveson will lead industry change to ensure career paths in TV studio craft, technical and delivery roles – such as engineering, audio, visual, electrical and scenic – are accessible to all.
She will also be responsible for ensuring a progressive and inclusive environment for all employees at BBC Studioworks, and will head up the HR team at the company.
Leveson joins from Universal Pictures International where she was HR director for the international theatrical business. Her CV also includes the role of HR business partner for BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios), and she began her career in management consulting, advising on people strategy across multiple industries.
Katie will report into BBC Studioworks’ CEO, Andrew Moultrie. Katie has the perfect blend of commercial experience, transformational delivery and culture awareness to help deliver our ambitious growth plans.”
