Unit Post Production has appointed Support Partners founder Andrew Newman to the role of executive producer.

Newman will be responsible for developing and growing the company's commercials, promos, feature-length programming and music video work.

Prior to joining Unit, Newman was a founding member of Support Partners, the post-production consultancy and services company.

He has also held the position of marketing manager at Locomotion and Molinare.

Unit managing director Adam Luckwell said: “Andrew's experience and talent will be invaluable in helping to drive even further growth.”

Newman added: “For far too long post houses have been shackled to inefficient post workflows which the client inevitably pays for. Unit has uniquely combined Apples' open Final Cut Pro platform with strong technical and production support that has really brought the client back to the centre of the post business.”
