Streamworks International has poached two senior executives from Associated Press as part of the streaming technology firm’s expansion plans.

AP’s former EMEA director of sales, Markus Ickstadt, has joined a s director of news, while former head of international operations, global media services, Tim Santhouse has been appointed director of operations.

Streamworks claims its proprietary software takes up approximately 30% less bandwidth than tech nology from its competitors.

Its clients include APTN Direct, MSN, The Telegraph, The Mail and the UN.
