Brief Provide picture and audio post for the latest series, which includes reviews of the careers of stars such as Peter Shilton, Paula Radcliffe and Chris Froome.
How it was done In partnership with ITV, Fifty Fifty managed the full post, including creating bespoke workfl ows for handling the large amount of archive material used in the series. Offl ine was completed in Avid Media Composer before Robin Doelly handled both the grade and online using DS. The main challenge was refi ning the archive footage to a similar quality to the newly shot interviews, while maintaining the authenticity of the material for iconic sporting occasions such as the Tour de France, or rare archive footage of Chris Froome’s early career. The audio mix was fi nished by Nick Harris using Pro Tools 11 with an Avid S6 console.
