Manufacturers Sony and Pinnacle Systems have teamed up to offer a budget camera and editing package for small production companies. Customers purchasing Sony DSR-PD150P, DSR-PDX10P and DSR-250P DVCams or the Sony DSR-11 VTR will now receive Pinnacle edition 4.52 editing software as standard. Also included will be an i.Link PCI board for desktops and an i.Link cable. Sony DVCam marketing manager Olivier Bovis calls it the 'perfect ready-to-work package' for DVCam customers. The bundle will retail from around£3,000.
