Sohonet has agreed a deal with Nevion to use the firm’s postproduction gateway software within the network’s ClearView collaboration service.

ClearView will use Nevion’s TVG480 for real-time transport of HD and 2K video over an IP network, to allow directors and colourists to see the same colours and image quality regardless of their location.

“We have already successfully used Nevion’s gateway products for our customers’ remote colour grading and we were keen to extend this relationship to our new ClearView service, where quality, reliability and low latency are crucial,” said Sohonet executive chairman Chuck Parker (pictured).
