NAB 2012: Snell will debut KudosPro, a platform designed to deliver high-quality image-processing capacities.

KudosPro is a universal platform that converts all SD, HD, and 3Gbps video formats, as well as audio formats including AES, embedded audio, and Dolby E.

Snell will introduce six new KudosPro products at NAB including single, dual, and quad-channel format and frame rate converters.

Full system management and monitoring is provided via SNMP or Snell’s RollCall system.

Additional functionality includes relay bypass, HDMI monitoring output, closed caption and timecode management, and AFD support.

Snell senior product manager Paola Hobson said: “With KudosPro, broadcasters can deliver stunning 1080p, HD, and SD pictures for their viewers, with the reliability and customer service they’ve come to expect from Snell.”
