The Collectv has recruited former Sky media manager Clair Cooley to the role of media systems engineer.

In what is a newly created role, Cooley will continue to work with Sky, providing support for its darts and Formula 1 coverage. She will also work with ITV Sport Racing and on various fixed rig shows.

Before joining Sky Cooley worked for BBC World Service News, Channel 4 and MTV Networks.

The Collectv managing director Chris Sarson said, “We’ve continued to grow and expand the type of work we’re doing and our client base throughout 2016. We knew we needed to grow our team again this year to keep up with the demand. Clair’s lengthy experience of working in a live, fast paced environment which needs clear thinking and a safe pair of hands is spot on for the type of work we do.”

The Collectv provides systems integration design and implementation, training, media management and support for broadcast, outside broadcast and post-production systems.
