NAB 2011: SGO will unveil the latest version of its DI and stereoscopic 3D post production system Mistika at NAB next week.
Version 6 can play 48 frames per second, while the upgrade will also make it possible to re-conform in the timeline while retaining previous effects with the option to move them to new positions and durations.
New stereo 3D tools include a colour matching feature which provides an overall accurate pixel-by-pixel colour adjustment between eyes, correcting polarisation and illumination.
A depth map aims to solve problems affecting colour differences that occur between eyes that can result from the use of mirror rigs or wrong depth when the frame exceeds the parallax.
