Soho animation and effects company The Hive has purchased and installed its second Discreet Flame suite in eight months. Managing director Dave Southwood said:

Soho animation and effects company The Hive has purchased and installed its second Discreet Flame suite in eight months. Managing director Dave Southwood said: "We're bidding on and winning more effects-based work than ever before and have installed another Flame to keep pace." The company has also hired freelancer Patric Roos as senior animator. Roos, who has worked at Glassworks, will also act as a vfx supervisor on shoots.
