Rondo Media has built a new studio at its north Wales HQ to host Clwb, S4C’s new Sunday sports programme.
The independent production company, which is headquartered in Cardiff, has invested £400,000 on the studio.
Rondo now has two studios at its Cibyn Estate location in Caernarfon: 1,300 sq ft Studio 1 and 1,700 sq ft Studio 2.
S4C’s new weekly sports programme broadcasts for six hours every Sunday.
During the rugby and football season the programme will broadcast live Pro12 rugby, live Welsh Premier League football, international cycling, motorsport and rallying, horse racing and other sports from Wales and the UK.
Rondo’s contract will sustain 15 production staff at its offices in Caernarfon and Cardiff, as well as six technical and up to 15 freelance staff in Caernarfon.
Rondo Media chief executive Gareth Williams said: “This new contract has enabled us to significantly invest in our North Wales base.
“It’s already our main drama hub for our long running series Rownd a Rownd and has been Sgorio’s home for many years.
“We’re very much looking forward to broadcasting S4C’s exciting new sports service live from Caernarfon as we work with other production companies and broadcasters to supply the best possible sports coverage.
“It is a significant recognition of the skills and talent available in the broadcast industry in North Wales.”
