Procam TV is expected to be one of the first UK hire facilities to take delivery of Sony’s PMW-F5 and PMW-F55 cameras.
The hire firm is investing £500,000 in the cameras and Angenieux and Zeiss lenses, with the first batch of 12 cameras expected to be available from early February.
Procam managing director John Brennan said: “4K is undoubtedly the hottest topic in the broadcast industry, and by making this investment, we are leading the way.”
