Pepper Post is considering closing its visual effects department as part of a round of cut backs designed to ensure that the company remains competitive.
The company is in consultation with staff and around 10 jobs could go including potentially four from the vfx team.
“It is with huge regret that we must consider this but we, along with many of our competitors, are responding to the state of the industry and are acting now in order to move the business forward.” said joint-MD Shane Warden.
Other departments that could lose staff include despatch, film services and audio.
Pepper recently completed work on the UK version of Law and Order.
