Brief Picture and audio post-production on the drama about life in a car dealership, including the creation of a “cool but colourful” look for the main locations.
How it was done Senior colourist Jamie Parry used Baselight to draw out the steely blue tones.
The grade was ramped up to accentuate the difference between the comparative safety of rainy Warrington and the glare of the Dominican Republic.
Shot by Sean Van Hales on the Arri Amira camera in Log-C ProRes, ample range was captured to allow the grade to encompass the requirements of the story.
The series was edited by Paulo Pandolpho and Jake Bernard using Avid Media Composer v7.
Head of audio Mark Briscoe used Pro Tools v10. He worked with writer Danny Brocklehurst to create a fresh and contemporary mix.
