Oasis Television has refuted claims that it is up for sale. Joint managing director Andrew Coppin denied that he is looking to sell the facility, though he admitted it was an option: "If someone comes along and makes me an offer I'd be interested. But Oasis is in a very healthy position compared to most companies in our field. We own our building and that makes a huge difference." Speculation about the future of the Soho-based company has been rife for some time with several companies being linked to a buy-out.
