O21 Television has been awarded the contract to provide outside broadcast facilities for Sky for its coverage of the Scottish Premier League (SPL) this season.
The contract, which will commence this week, covers the provision of facilities for coverage of thirty SPL matches. O21 will provide a high definition unit and a tape truck from its fleet.
The company was previously contracted to Setanta to provide OB facilities its SPL coverage.
Darren Long, head of operations at Sky Sport said: “O21 Television combines an experienced crew with the latest High Definition equipmentand facilities to ensure we have the best possible coverage for Sky viewers.”
The SPL season commences 15 August 2009.
