BVE 2016: Nugen Audio will demonstrate Halo Upmix, the company’s system for upmixing stereo audio to 5.1/7.1 surround sound.
Unveiled at IBC in September, it is the first product to be based on the company’s proprietary new upmixing processes.
At BVE, Nugen Audio will demonstrate a forthcoming 9.1 extension to Halo Upmix which will provide compatibility with Dolby Atmos bed tracks and is due for release in the second quarter of the year.
