Soho-based Nucoda is all set to debut its resolution-independent film mastering system for digital intermediate finishing and a data play system, both based on its Postcode frame-indexing technology, at next month's IBC. Harnessing standard PC RAM memory, data play is claimed to allow users to view 2K 10-bit log sequences from the desktop exactly as they would appear in a cinema or on television, without having to book expensive playback suites or wait for film-outs.
