How it was done Colourist Graeme Hayes used Digital Vision’s Nucoda Film Master and its DVO toolset to restore the film archive before giving each episode a specific look. To add authenticity, the colour palette chosen was based on actual colour photo stills and specific locations from the period. Comprehensive sound design, to bring the mute archive and drama reconstructions to life, was completed by dubbing mixers Greg Gettens and Jamie Hartland on Pro Tools using Clear Cut’s sound effects library.
