Cardiff-based post-production company Mwnci has purchased a range of kit from Avid including the first Avid DS Nitris to be installed in Wales. Also included in the deal are four Avid Media Composer Adrenalines and an Avid Unity Media Network system. Avid declined to reveal how much the deal is worth.
Cardiff-based post-production company Mwnci has purchased a range of kit from Avid including the first Avid DS Nitris to be installed in Wales. Also included in the deal are four Avid Media Composer Adrenalines and an Avid Unity Media Network system. Avid declined to reveal how much the deal is worth.

The addition of the DS Nitris and Unity Media Network systems provide Mwnci with an effects toolset for its graphics and promo work as well as a more efficient workflow throughout the post-production process.

Avid house with an existing Symphony and two Avid Xpress systems, all of which will be linked to the new Unity. Mwnci also has a standalone digital linear tape suite.
