The 2009 show - which combines the former Broadcast Live and Video Forum shows - will feature new exhibitors Cisco Solutions, Red Bee Media, Sonifex and HHB and cover more than 10,000sq m of floor space.
They will line up alongside Sony, Adobe, JVC, Avid, Matrox, Holdan, Tektronix, Vitec Group, Canon, Blackmagic Design and Apple Solution Experts.
“After an excellent IBC there is a huge amount of enthusiasm for the show in February,” explained event director Kieron Seth. “We have enjoyed a real surge of interest in exhibiting and have been able to attract the best ever line-up of speakers in the conference and seminars.”
The conference line-up has been bolstered with the inclusion of a keynote from Discovery Communications chief media technology officer John Honeycutt, who will be speaking at the HD Focus (Stateside Review) session.
Other highlights include Lime Pictures PSC manager John Robertson detailing the technology challenges facing the production business and Red Bee Media head of playout services Stephen Stewart discussing Channel 4's outsourced broadcast operations.
Seminar topics will include tapeless and HD production, managing data and storage, streaming media and IPTV.
Broadcast Video Expo, co-owned by Emap and VCM Events, takes place at Earls Court 2 in London, 17-19 February 2009.
Registration opens on 4 November at www.broadcastvideoexpo.co.uk
