The 100 Greatest Scariest Moments is the latest in the Greatest of... series from Channel 4. The shows, produced by Yorkshire and Tyne Tees TV, have all been branded with graphics that use a video wall. For this latest instalment, head of design Paul Peppiate of Leeds-based Mezzo decided to make use of an animated "clip grabber" element - a skeletal hand that picks each of the scary moments before they're played out - and give the video wall a gothic makeover that features 3D skulls and bats. The clips were pre-treated in After Effects before being rendered into the scenes in Softimage XSI by Jamie White. The 2 x 120-minute show airs over two nights on 25 to 26 October.
