The BBC launches its Wimbledon 2002 promotional campaign this weekend with the help of John McEnroe, writes Barbara Marshall

Produced by BBC Broadcast, the film, No One Hits Harder, was shot in New York and features McEnroe commenting on what it takes to win Wimbledon while demonstrating his mastery of tennis by battling a volley of balls from a practice machine.

His comments and personality, rather than any forehand strokes, return all the balls fired at him. The trail airs from Saturday (8 June). BBC Wimbledon coverage begins on 24 June.
