IBC 2013: Loft London Solutions and Oasys will jointly launch a playout platform targeted at the disaster recovery and remote playout markets at this year’s IBC.
The platform will deliver customised workflows from transmission schedule creation through to playout.
The integration between Loft London Solution’s end-to-end workflow platform Cubix and the Oasys platform will provide an enterprise asset management, automation and orchestration engine with an integrated playout solution.
It will be combined with Loft’s enterprise support monitoring layer Prism.
Loft London Solutions managing director James Gibson said: “Our strategy in a joint offering with Oasys is to create a best of breed platform that enables playout providers a unified platform that can allow their clients to launch channels quickly or disaster recovery services.
“Both Loft and Oasys have a proven industry history of rapid integration, deployment and stable performance.”
Oasys chief executive Mark Errington added: “Our collaboration with Loft means we can offer our global broadcast customers simultaneous secure remote management and monitoring of all their Oasys playout channels.
“Our playout facilities customers can now offer their clients this functionality thus increasing their own services and flexibility.”
