Link Research is launching its latest digital wireless camera at IBC next month, along with a digital Triax system solution to carry digital signals to outside broadcast vehicles. The LinkXP camera has reverse camera control and is fitted with a Sony interface making it compatible with all broadcast cameras. An LCD control panel has also been added. At present, digital pictures from the cameras are converted to an analogue format in order to travel through Triax cables. The new digital Triax cables will mean that broadcasters can deliver clearer pictures from stadiums without any degradation of quality.
