Raymond Lamphen has been appointed general manager of the Digital Media Centre (DMC) in Amsterdam.
Lamphen, who replaces Jelmer Kleingeld, previously held the role of Ericsson head of broadcast and media services for the Benelux region.
DMC is part of AMC Networks International.
It transmits over 100 linear streams across Europe, the UK, Middle East, Asia and South Africa, and manages over 60,000 on-demand titles and delivers some 5,000 hours of content each day.
DMC’s clients include Fox Networks Group, A+E Networks, Liberty Global, BBC Worldwide, Sony Pictures Entertainment and AMC Networks.
AMC Networks executive vice president and chief technology officer Steve Pontillo said: “Raymond joins the Digital Media Centre as we grow and develop the business whilst continuing to provide a high level tailored service to our existing clients.
“Raymond’s experience, strategic vision and drive will position us to continue to provide an offering that is state of the art.”
