Root6 Technology has appointed Mike Jarvis as its new channel manager for Europe.

Jarvis has held senior sales management positions at Curious Software, Avid, Snell and Willcox, Marquis and Vizrt.

His main task in his new role will be to grow the European reseller channel for ContentAgent, the company’s content re-purposing and workflow management tool.

“Transitioning to file-based worklow and monetizing content are two key challenges facing the industry at this time,” said Jarvis.

“I relish the opportunity to expand our business thoughout Europe, following up on the high level of interest expressed by re-sellers at IBC.”
