A Japanese consortium led by Imagica Robot Holdings has completed its acquisition of localisation firm SDI Media.

SDI said the deal would provide expansion opportunities for Imagica’s production, post-production and distribution services. SDI has offices in London, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Its clients include Fremantle Media, Discovery Channel, AETN and Netflix.
