ITV and Sky pip BBC to Champions League rights
The BBC's best efforts to reclaim its status as Britain's premier terrestrial sports broadcaster were dashed last night as the rights to Champions League matches for the next three years were handed to ITV and BSkyB in a£249 million deal, writes Luke Satchell
