The service will be known as ITN Hub and will enable Vista users, who have downloaded the application, to receive the latest home, world, showbiz, sports and money news.
The Hub will also allow users to set up video/sound alerts when new stories are added and view 'fly out' video reports. It will also feature the latest weather forecasts for any of 300 UK locations specified by the Windows Vista user.Users will also have the option of viewing the content with 3D or animation effects through the Windows Presentable Foundation (WPF).
Microsoft founder Bill Gates announced the partnership at the Windows Vista launch at the British Library this morning (30 Jan).
ITN On's managing director Nicholas Wheeler said: 'It's a great accolade to be
