More than 300 exhibitors to appear, with 10,000 delegates anticipated
More than 300 exhibitors are attending Mipcom as the market returns to 2017 levels of attendance.
The 38th iteration of the international market in Cannes, France, is expecting to welcome over 10,000 delegates from 96 countries as stands return along the Croisette Beach for the first time since 2019.
Attendees include super-indies All3Media International, Banijay and ITV Studios. BBC Studios has also confirmed its attendance, alongside Paramount Global Content Distribution, NBCUniversal International and Netflix.
40 first-time exhibitors from 21 countries will also make their Mipcom debut, which takes place from the 17-20 October in the Palais des Festivals.
The festival will also introduce a ‘Seaview Producers Hub’, a 1000 sqm event space set against Cannes’ sea view which will focus on co-production and funding partnerships.
The hub will host sessions Banijay’s Lars Blomgren, Matt Brodlie (Constantin) and Leona Connell (Newen Connect) amongst its speakers.
Fremantle Group chief executive’s Jennifer Mullin and Andrea Scrosati, as well as Banijay’s Marco Bassetti and Fox Entertainment’s Charlie Collier are among the keynote speakers.
