Memory Bites with Matt Moran

British comedian Ross Noble is among the famous faces to appear in Australian indie Big Owl Films’ new food format Memory Bites with Matt Moran. Chef and restaurateur will dive into the personal lives of well-known Australians through the lens of food. Each episode will centre around a significant meal from the guest’s past that evokes memories of their childhood, family and love. Among his guests are actors Richard Roxburgh, Pia Miranda and Noble, who resides in Australia with his family. The format is a co-production between Big Owl’s Shane Murphy, Moran and private investment firm Globe Wealth. The series will air and stream in early 2025 on Australia’s SBS Food and SBS OnDemand.

The cast for Firebird Pictures’ upcoming Nicôle Lecky drama Wild Cherry for BBC1 will include House of the Dragon star Eve Best and The Penguin star Carmen Ejogo. Also in the cast are Marcella’s Imogen Faires, Peep Show’s Sophie Winkleman and newcomer Amelia May. The creator of the show, Lecky, will star and serve as an executive producer. Also appearing in the six-parter are Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Hayat Kamille (Vikings: Valhalla), Isabelle Allen (Les Misérables), James Murray (The Crown), Jason York (Mood), Nathaniel Martello-White (The Winter King), Tara Webb (Phoenix Rise), and Hugh Quarshie (Holby City). The series is currently filming in Surrey.
