BVE 2017: IBM used this week’s BVE event in London to launch new features for its Aspera Files Software as a Service (SaaS).

A key part of the update is an Express mode feature to simplify large content sharing, sending and receiving.

Also included is built-in support for the IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Service, a hybrid multitenant service for big data transfers to, from and across cloud object storage systems.

IBM also revealed that London-based media management and post-production services provider TVT is using Aspera to deliver cloud-based fast turnaround news workflows.
