Despite the prevailing economic climate, IBC posted record attendance figures this year it has been claimed.

By the end of Monday (15 September), 47,000 attendees had trawled the halls, conferences and exhibition stands of the Amsterdam RAI centre.

IBC chief operating officer Mike Crimp said that the figures were further proof that IBC offers value.

“[This is especially the case] with all the key players under one roof, combined with extremely relevant conference content. Thanks to everyone who has made IBC08 the best ever, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the RAI next year."

1300 exhibiters filled 11 halls at the RAI in Amsterdam from 11-16 September 2008.
