Lighting and grip supplier Ianiro is shifting the bulk of its business from Rome to Redditch, with management, sales and marketing and customer service moving from Italy to the UK.

The company will continue to have warehouses in the UK, France, and Italy, where the company’s lighting systems will still be manufactured.

“We wanted to ensure that we were ready for the next phase of expansion,” said founder Fabrizia Ianiro.

“First class distribution, customer understanding and market knowledge are a priority. Restructuring around the fast-growing Ianiro UK is a logical and exciting move.”

Former Ianiro UK managing director Nick Allen-Miles has taken on the role of MD of newly formed Ianiro International, which will focus on market research, global strategy, sales, marketing, international distribution and customer service.

The company said it planned to open more offices and enter into new non-exclusive reseller relationships around the world.

“We aim to satisfy the growing need for professional lighting equipment available where and when the customer needs it,” added Allen-Miles.
