IBC 2012: Canon, Civolution, Glensound, Sony and Timecode Systems have been selected as finalists for the 2012 IABM Awards for Design and Innovation.

Canon has been nominated for its 4K-capable EOS-1D C DSLR camera, while Civolution has been selected for its content-triggering service, SyncNow.

Glensound’s HD Voice, which offers 7kHz audio as a voice call on a 3G network is also in the running, together with Sony’s live IP transmission system NXL-IP55 and Timecode Systems’ Timecode Buddy: Wi-Fi Master.

The winner will be announced on Saturday 8 September at IBC in Amsterdam.
