Brief Provide picture and audio post for the six-part series which looks at treatments and cosmetic procedures that aim to reduce the effects of ageing.
How it was done Splice colourist Chris Rodgers used Baselight’s ‘Film Grade’ tool, building multiple layers of shapes to create a glossy and highly saturated look.
Grading metadata was transferred to the online edit using the Baselight for Avid plugin.
This meant that no new media was generated and grades were kept ‘live’ and adjustable at all times.
Dubbing mixer Joe Cochrane mixed the show using Pro Tools 10.
He kept a clear and consistent blend between the multiple presenters’ on-camera dialogue and voiceover, while maintaining a punchy music and effects mix to complement the visuals.
Watch it Wednesdays, 8pm C4
