Next week’s event will host panels and keynotes featuring senior figures from Amazon, the BBC, Sky, Expectation, 72 Films and more
Commissioners including Amazon’s Dan Grabiner, Sky’s Meghan Lyvers, ITV’s Kate Teckman and Channel 5’s Denise Seniveratne will appear alongside leading indie execs at next week’s Broadcast Indie Summit.
Mothership’s Kelly Webb-Lamb, Dragonfly’s Richard Bond, Proper Content’s David and Expectation’s Tim Hincks are also confirmed for the event, which takes place on 28 March at London’s 1 Wimpole Street.
The all-day summit will offer separate simultaneous streams featuring commissioners and indie execs
Commissioning sessions include:
- Amazon Prime Video UK’s team discussing its scripted and non-scripted strategies
- Carl Callam (BBC), Denise Seniveratne (Paramount) and Poppy Dixon (Sky) discussing documentaries
- Sky Studios’ new director of original drama Meghan Lyvers setting out her stall
- Charlotte Reid (Discovery), Helen Nightingale (UKTV) Kate Teckman (ITV) and Lee McMurray (C4) outlining their factual entertainment requirements
In the Indie strand, delegates will hear from:
- Mark Downie (IWC Media), Sam Grace (Boom Cymru) and Sohail Shah (King of Sunshine) on the truth of life in the nations and regions
- Donna Clark (DSP) and Kelly Webb Lamb (Mothership) about indie relations
- Tim Hincks (Expectation) and Mark Raphael (72 Films) in conversation
