UK distributor Holdan has snapped up Panasonic’s latest 4K camera.
The company has placed an initial order for more than 200 units of the AG-DVX200, which was launched last week at NAB in Las Vegas. The AG-DVX200 is a large-sensor 4/3- inch handheld camcorder that will cost around £3,400.
Holdan managing director Chris Daniels said: “This is a completely new breed of camera. Because its sensor is so much bigger than any other fixed lens camcorder, it’s going to give users the perfect combination of very high-quality 50p images in all lighting conditions and excellent dynamic range, plus the convenience of an integrated f2.8 Leica zoom lens.”
