Editing equipment rental company Hireworks has this week opened a new branch in Soho.
The company’s new Dean Street office will specialize in providing same day hire of VTRs and non-linear editing kit to film and TV customers.
It is being headed-up by former Gearbox operations manager Danny Simmonds.
The company already has cutting rooms in Berwick Street.
Hireworks provides dry hire editing technology from Avid, Lightworks and Final Cut Pro and in partnership with the Pinewood Group also offers data storage, asset management and video streaming services.
Hireworks was formed following a buyout of Clear Cut Hires in 2007.
The company has provided kit for a host of TV dramas including Little Dorrit, Lark Rise to Candleford (pictured) and Harley Street.
