Arrow Media is using Aframe’s video production platform for the upcoming series of The Hairy Bikers: Restoration Road Trip.

Aframe’s cloud-based tools have been used to provide access to the productions’s archive, providing backups and a streamlined production schedule, according to series producer Thomas Viner.

He said: “The strength of Aframe as a back-up is that we know we never have to worry about drive failure – and it happens.

“We have a secure back-up in three locations, and because it’s in the cloud, it’s available whenever and wherever we need it.

“Using Aframe to store all our tapeless media also saved us on buying another 3TB hard drive.”

Hairy Bikers: Restoration Road Trip airs on Sunday at 9pm on BBC2.
