Soho-based audio specialists Goldcrest Post have joined forces with Narduzzo Too to launch a central London grading and finishing service.
Narduzzo Too, which is based at Pinewood, will have additional facilities at Goldcrest’s Lexington Street premises, which will now offer off-line editing, HD and 2k grading and finishing in addition to existing sound design, Foley and mixing services.
DI producer Sabina-Elease Utley has been transferred from Goldcrest’s New York facility and will be responsible for picture finishing operations at Lexington Street.
Recent projects worked on by Narduzzo Too founder Vince Narduzzo include the second series of Upstairs Downstairs for the BBC and Sky 1’s Strike Back (pictured).
Goldcrest chief executive Keith Williams said the facility had been looking to add grading to its offering “for some time”.
He said: “Vince is a fantastic colourist and so relaxed with clients that most of them become his lifelong friends. He can have a laugh with everyone whether trapped seasick together on a yacht in Cannes, at The Lyric with everyone from runners to clients, or in conversation with the likes of Scorsese. It’ll be great to have him on board.”
Narduzzo added: “Keith and I discussed the idea last year and felt it was a perfect fit for both companies.
“It’s fantastic that the reality is now here, but it will be business as usual at our Pinewood operation while the addition of our Soho base will enable us to offer full post packages at either Pinewood or Soho.”
