A new development from Fujinon that, along with six new 3D lenses, provides accurate lens matching for stereoscopic 3D film and television production.

How does it work? Combined with zoom and focus controllers, plus interface cables, the system synchronises the left and right lenses so zoom and focus move accurately in unison. The new lenses feature high optical and mechanical specifications along with precise zoom and focus servos.

Why is it important? Lenses that are to be used in tandem for 3D productions must share the same focal length and, during shooting, they must also match zoom and focus position.
