Brief Provide picture post-production on Robert Popper’s 6x30-minute comedy series about the gloriously idiosyncratic Goodman family’s weekly dinner.
How it was done Colourist Perry Gibbs worked closely with director Martin Dennis and graded the series with the Nucoda Film Master. Using footage shot on an Arri Alexa camera, Gibbs used Nucoda’s Channel Mixer to reduce the greens, creating a warm tungsten atmosphere throughout the series.
Moreover, by de-saturating the low lights Gibbs was able to make the highlights appear more colourful.
Tam Osman completed the online using Avid Symphony while Barney Jordan completed 2D effects work in Avid DS Nitris.
The post producer for the series was Sean Gatenby. The Farm also provided offline editing facilities using Avid Media Composer.
Watch it Fridays, 10pm, Channel 4
