Framestore’s Michael Stanish has joined Soho rivals MPC as its head of 3D production for commercials.
Stanish spent three years at Framestore post-producing commercials and features.
His CV includes Daniel Kleinman’s 2009 super bowl spots, the Bridgestone ‘Mr Potatohead’ job and VFX shots for the Harry Potter franchise (pictured).
Graham Bird, MPC’s managing director of commercials, said: “We have an immense amount of respect for Michael and have long admired his passion, vision and energy; all of these attributes are demonstrated in the way Michael approaches his work.
Stanish starts his new job this week.
The move forms part of the restructuring of the company’s existing commercials production team with Vittorio Giannini being named as director of commercials production and Jonathan Davies head of commercials production.
