Brief Provide picture post services for the 4 x 60-minute series for Sky Atlantic, which stars Dominic Cooper as Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond.

How it was done Senior colourist Asa Shoul was involved from the pre-production stage, assisting with camera and lens tests.

Once the Red Epic was chosen, LUTs were created for use in camera and for dailies, as well as the VFX pipeline to ensure that when it came to the grade, the entire production was confident and happy with the overall look.

Shoul used Baselight plug-ins DFuse and Soften, and created a print curve to build a fi lmic 1940s look.

In one scene, he composited in a machine-gun muzzle flash, adding flare lighting to the actor’s body and face, and camera shake to give the shot dramatic impact.
