The owners of Halo Post have joined forces with a media analyst and a corporate financier to launch a TV and film funding company.

The Crimson Partnership aims to be a “one-stop finance provider for high-end UK-based productions”.

In particular, it will target drama, animation, high-end factual and feature-length documentaries, providing them with tax credit advances, advances against foreign sales, post production investments, gap financing and project-based EIS (enterprise investment scheme) fund raising.

It will also offer a consultancy service to media and production companies that want to raise equity for expansion, acquire or dispose of assets and raise their bank debt or mezzanine finance.

Former JP Morgan European Media managing director and co-founder of Apollo Media Mark Beilby established the company.

The other partners involved are corporate financier Tim Willis, Halo chief executive John Rogerson and Lumi Technologies chief executive and Halo chairman Richard Taylor.
