Farncombe has launched OpenTest, a licence-free testing system for digital TV devices.

OpenTest, which is based on the MiriATE assets that were acquired by Farncombe last year, provides a test environment for set-top boxes, integrated digital televisions and the services consumed through them.

It is available either as a managed, outsourced service in Farncombe’s Test Lab in London, or deployed in-house.
