Brief Visual identity for the sport/entertainment format, in which the endurance of sporting legends is tested.
How it was done The required look was ‘entertainment meets science meets cool’, without falling into the sci-fi genre or being too light entertainment. This was achieved using clean lines and muted purple and grey, with a hint of pink. The logo, which is based on a symbol for eternity, was developed in Photoshop using still images, optical flares and in-house artwork. The graphic style is clean with the triangle running through all the graphics and used as a transition device. The text was modelled in Cinema 4D and textured to look like gold. The rest of the animation was a concoction of visual effects, optical flares and key-framed shape animation, with Plexus used to create the star field.
